When using Handyshell, the apps doesnt completely close when i close them. I can only close them thru taskman or task mgr. If not, memory is always taken up..

Praise God you've risen up and wake
you gave us quite a bit of a head ache
if the software's buggy, give it a break
for the 5800 and for your sake

HandyShell eats up 4 mb of ram and if you add the weather plugin, memory consumption goes up to 8 mb. Smartsettings uses less than 1 mb of ram if you disable icons in the list, shortcuts are completely customisable (so you can even treat it as a task manager for launchers that are already running) and it's always one touch away if you replace the xpress bar button with it. It certainly is one of the few apps worth buying.

next time you post a question make it a clear one
your 1 question is a puzzle for everyone
memory consumption problem is not fun
so please be clear in the next run

check your contact list earnestly
also see if there's double entry
if you opted to list in your phone memory
better select sim contacts to display

Yes, thank u for your suggestions as well. !
Cos handyshell looks kinda cool. and thats the alternative to change the homescreen.. the original homescreen looks plain after some time.

Handy Shell is a great app but unfortunately on  my N97 is unusable, very very badly slows the whole phone down, can wait 15 - 20 seconds to switch screens.

Great shame.

Since flash apps can't launch java apps anyways, that would always prevent me from ever buying it...
