I have a nokia 701 with belle fp2 ..

I have the following apps on startup :

uripackage handler
ovi mapswifi/
maps settings
sms ds plugin
mms ds plugin

I run maps in offline mode , so I dont want it to stop by disabling anyone of the startup apps !! So , which ones to stop ??

I have the following apps running in the background :

cpix search
slp gw
metadata system
omb

I run webgate call and sms filter in the background and so I dont want it to stop .. Now , how to prevent the above apps from running in background without causing problems for other apps such as maps or webgate !!

P.S. : A bit of info on the above apps will be great for my knowledge ..

sms ds plugin - that's for Nokia Suite (sms)
mms ds plugin - that's for Nokia Suite (mms)
cpix search - that's the search indexer
slp gw - part of maps

I guess it's the search indexer or something similar.
search isn't live, there's a index/database to make it faster.

it makes a folder cpix in c drive and copies .txt files from f drive in to it and doesn't allow to delete it untill we remove the original .txt file and reboot the phone...

yes but that's really not the main usuage, it's more like a bug.
If it has only this copy function, it would be useless.
