Hello, this is my first topic, so sorry if im doing somthing wrong
So heres the thing- I got Nokia E7-00, before flashing it with phoenix it didnt had network coverage and camera wasnt working, i asked for help in another forum and there they said me to flash it with phoenix, i never had done it so i tryed, but i didnt knew that i cant flash it with older FW than i had instaled, so i flashed it, and then somthing went wrong and now the phone is dead
Tryed holding power button, it vibrated and after 8-10 sec it vibrated 3 times, and that happens evrytime i do it
So, what should i do ?
I downloaded lattest FW, but it Phoenix says that Digital signature file is missing
Can i do somthing by myself or i have to take it to care center ?
Sorry for my bad english if theres some mistakes

Hello

No worry, you'll be able to recover your E7. You have:
1. to download the latest FW available - for your product code preferably. Use navifirm for this (download version 1.7)
2. to flash with that FW in dead usb mode

Do you know, by any chance, your product code? I would tend to say it's not a real issue, but because E7 has a QWERTY  keyboard, you probably want to flash with the right layout Wink

So first things first, can you tell us in which country you are? If you can't donwload the FW, I'll do it for you.

OK, you're probably safe with this product code:

059D0T6 RM-626 baltian qw dark grey

Download Navifirm from here: http://www.symbian-toys.com/navifirm.aspx#download

Then choose in the first colum RM-626 (=Nokia E7), second column highest firmware available (111.040.1511), third colum : the product code I gave you. Then hit "download".

You'll download the original firmware for your device.

Tell us when you have these files on your computer.

If it's not clear, look at the process here: http://forum.dailymobile.net/index.php?topic=42194.msg581066#msg581066

(but download the variants I told you above)

Now you're ready to flash your E7 in "dead usb mode".

Do you know how to flash? Copy the files you've downloaded in the RM-626 folder of Phoenix (I guess you have already done that when flashing the first time, erase all previous files and copy the new ones downloaded from Navifirm)

Then when flashing, tick "dead usb mode" and choose "refurbish".

The flashing failed. Do you want to retry the flashing?

HRESULT 0x8401f141 (-2080247487)

Flash: Boot rom was not detected after phone boot up. Unable to start flashing.

Which version of Phoenix do you use?

Have you tried a hard reset using this 3 fingers method:

When in "test mode", the flash is done. Now you can reboot your device and install everything / restore your data.

Tell us if your E7 is alive and working normally.
