iOS 6 Maps hacked, 3D Flyover mode works on iPhone 4 - Video

One of the biggest updates in iOS 6 comes with Maps application with its new turn by turn navigation and 3D Flyover mode, but as Apple noted Flyover and turn-by-turn navigation will be available only on iPhone 4S and iPad 2 or later.

After yesterday's release of the new version of redsn0w, Russian hacker Anton Titkov (iTony) hacked the iOS 6 Maps and found a solution to enable Flyover mode on the iPhone 4. Check the video after the break.

Anton released a tweak called 3DEnabler that enables 3D Flyover mode on older devices and uploaded a video of the Flyover in action on the iPhone 4.

Because Cydia is not working with latest jailbreak, 3DEnabler can't be installed like a "normal" package and you need to install the .deb file via SSH. You can find the 3D Enabler.deb file and "how to install" step by step tutorial on iguides.ru.
