Hi, i flashed my nokia 5230 rm-588 v51.0.002 for symbian anna.
After flashing it converted to nokia 5235-1b v50.8.001 rm-594. I downloded symbian anna from this youtube tutorial youtube.com/watch?v=zdabBRPc3-w&feature=youtu.be

Again i tried to flash with my original rm-588 firmware. But my phone is dead. When i flash it with rm-594 versions then only my phone flashing successfully. Otherwise its going to die.

So, how can i flash my nokia 5230 with my original rm-588. Plz help me.

The video link is not working.

I didn't get your problem.

But, if you have upgraded your phone version then it is difficult to revert back.

Else, you can try flashing with latest core i.e v51 made for your phone by changing the port like connect your device to an another usb port.

This is done so that JAF will not detect your phone as dead.

My original mobile phone version is 5230 rm-588 51.0.002. I saw symbian anna for 5230 in this youtube tutorial "   youtube.com/watch?v=zdabBRPc3-w&feature=youtu.be    "
after flashing with that symbian anna cfw my phone changed to nokia 5235-1b v50.50.8.001 rm-594.

when i flash to revert my phone version from rm-594 v50.8.001 to rm-588 v51.0.002 then my phone is not working. It only working with rm-594 versions. how can i install rm-588 versions. Currently my phone running with rm-594 v51.2.002.

plz suggest me.

Ok, Mate.

Just paste your Original or any CFW in your RM folder.

The place where you paste your FW files their will be an folder by default form delete it & then paste FW.

Now, Start JAF then select your RM , etc.
Now, Connect your dead phone to another USB port.
Then try flashing.

Note: Don't connect to the usb port which you always use to flash your phone. Just connect to another one.

JAF will take time to install drivers for new USB port.
So, be patient !!!

Good Luck !!!

yes. I followed you. But my phone only flashing with RM-594.

There is an option in jaf named "Downgrade". I think the option is suitable for my situation but, but i read in many posts flashing with that option will kill the phone permanently. that's why i didnt used the option.

Thanking you.

Do not ever tick that option mate.......
If you cannot flash back to OFW of you RM...... then a proper JAF Flash by NCC is needed........

Try this, using Navifirm download your original FW ver 51.6.002, which is the latest available till date.
Connect your phone to pc via USB mode and delete Sys, private ,resource & System folders from your mmc. Now flash your phone with the original FW.
Best of Luck Cheesy
