I modded some of the default FP2 effects to make them faster because I'm not a big fan of twirling and spinning effects. Hence the name No Fuss Smiley

Note that this is only for FP2 because I haven't changed earlier elements. First you need a hacked phone, then install base package from here http://forum.dailymobile.net/index.php?topic=93155.msg1118173#msg1118173. Finally copy the effects files to E:\effects.

I find it faster to run effects from C:. You need to modify C:\resource\effects\manifest.mf to point to another location like C:\resource\fx or whatever.

To get effects to update after editing, just change themes, no need to reboot.

Zoom selection bug for which apps? I used the stock effects for most things. I need to check if anything is missing.

Sorry mate, the magnifying glass zoom works on my FP2. I didn't change the manifest.mf file in the attachment, it's the stock one from firmware, and I also copied over all effects files and bitmaps from firmware.

Maybe your own C:\resources\effects\manifest.mf is missing some stuff? Better to make a new copy from firmware and then edit the beginning lines to point to your effects folder.

No patches for FP2 to run it, but you need a hacked phone and Open4All Rompatcher patch to install the files:

1. Get the base package from here (http://forum.dailymobile.net/index.php?topic=93155.msg1118173#msg1118173).
2. Copy aknskinsrv.dll to C:\sys\bin.
3. Copy the other files to their respective locations. You might want to copy Z:\resource\effects to C:\resource\effects and edit it to point to your custom effects folder, like E:\fx or whatever.
4. Download the effects files and unzip to your custom effects folder.
5. Reboot.
6. Anytime you edit the effects files and you want updates to show, go to Settings, Themes, General, select a different theme. That will update the effects to your new ones.
