But when display go dark there is purple tint and when you touch screen brightness will go up and purple tint dissappear... this problem is on my N8 and so on 808.
Purple tint is not visible in this video but its indicated by this Sad check 0:07 of the video

The cpu is still a fuckin* arm11, why?
Same cpu like 5800! I hope the gpu is faster than 701. We need carla now, with better screen resolution and better cpus.
I am not going to buy a 808. I will wait for the follower of this and stay with my n8.
4 inch nhd, 1080p and 38mp with a arm11?
My n8 needs so much time to sharp a foto when i zoom in. What about 38mp? There will be a fuckin* high compression.
The only reason for thia phone is the camera.
But until now the n8 is still the 2nd best camera after 808.

The Design is very ugly on Nokia 808  ...
I did not like the design.. 1st phone needs to look beautiful, it is not there on 808. Look at N8 Very good design ..
I like my N8 with white colour and with Belle it looks very very beautiful...

I will stay with my N8 super design,, Cool  and 12 mp camera is Better Cool

The GPU on 701 is able to record 1080p videos. 701 has a Broadcom BCM2763 ( http://www.broadcom.com/products/Cellular/Mobile-Multimedia-Processors/BCM2763 ) but I'm not sure about the one on Nokia 808.

Regarding ARM11, it's an architecture, not a CPU! Don't confuse things and try to investigate a bit more. Being a 1.3Ghz processor, it doesn't have nothing to do with the CPU on 5800 or even the 701.

I will stay with my N8 super design,, Cool  and 12 mp camera is Better Cool

I'm sorry to let you know that you 12 Mpixels camera will most likely have less quality photos than the ones taken by this phone. The amount of light needed by this 808 to take a good picture is incredible lower than N8.

+1 with Jonas, and we also have to add that maybe they won't be another Symbian PureView phone. Ideally, the final one would be interesting, because technology will be better tamed, design improved and maybe dual-core to receive Donna. I hope they're not using this 808 as N9 : a testbed for WP phones (for N9, design and body were reused for Lumia).

Excellent job Nokia! THIS is the innovative Nokia we knew and loved.

Im seeing many N8 users rejoicing, who knew it was possible to succeed the N8's camera.
