lagging video player on Nokia 500

hey.. I'm having problem playing some videos on my Nokia 500 that I've recorded by using my modded Nokia 5230.. the video player lags a lot.. here is the modded camera file on my 5230.. anyone can explain this?

No problem is not in your 500 it is in recording of 5230 BTW have you set tv quality in 5230 video setting

yes.. but when I play the video on my 5230.. there were no lags.. how come there are lags on my 500?

Nokia 500 has major problems! although it has a !Ghz processor (and a 2D graphics accelerator) its performance is on par with nokia 5800 (434 Mhz cpu , no graphics chip) so expect to have such problems in future! maybe the belle update can fix those.

What are the settings in your 500 and yeah is it properly decoding other videos of same format as of 5230

I mailed to Nokia about this issue and this is their reply..

Dear Mr. Muiz,

Thank you for emailing Nokia Careline.

In response to your inquiry, we would like to inform you that in the event that the video you are playing in your Nokia 500 was transferred from the Nokia 5230 the video will either be slow or will not play at all. This is due to compatibility issue. Kindly be advised that the video recording resolution and file formats of the Nokia 5230 is different with the Nokia 500. We hope for your kind understanding regarding this issue.
