I can not uninstall nokia screen sleeping 1.3. Not appear in the apps installed, but appears in the record. It was installed in the rom n8. Anyone know which folders I delete manually, before installing the new version?
reinstalled in the E: and could uninstall. Now when I install 3.0 update error appears. Only hard reset? |

i install v3 but got black screen so i copy standbyfw and uninstall v3 then install older version which is 2.5.
then delete stndbyfw replace with copyed one. and now its working.
attached standbyfw, just place this standbyfw to C/E/F:private/2003507e.

All I can suggest is try thowed solution, install the nss from Nokia store then use the file attached in his post. That should work a treat.  |

I installed v3 right over the default one from nokia without a problem, (running cfw from niceoni) I tried this way of installing because i have my own theme with over 50 converted pictures and didn't want to lose the selfmade theme. The added pictures however make me realise i don't really need my own pictures anymore as these new added are great also good job +1 ! Maybe it's because i have open4all in rompatcher in my autostart to have acces to all folders all the time, but for me installing this didn't demand extra install options. |

Most people won't have a problem installing so long as there qt library is up to date and they have a hacked phone. I guess slight differences with peoples phones is causing problems for a few people but even official apps sometimes don't work eg: (i can't get angry birds to work on my phone for some reason) I'm just glad people like my work |

my N8 with Nokia Sleep Screen actived.... battery getting to low level so fast ... What do you call fast? I always charge my phone when I go to bed so I don't notice a change. Sleeping screen is designed in such a way that when your phone is in your pocket or face down on a surface, the screen turns off rather than still showing the screen saver. |
