Symbian hack by Norton Security. By CODeRUS.

How to hack?

1. install NortonSymbianHack.sisx
2. Launch
3. Go Options- Anti-Virus - Quarantine list
4. Go Options - Restore, accept prompt
5. Exit application, delete from App manager (Symantec Symbian Hack). Also delete c:\shared\ folder.
6. Install RomPatcherPlus_3.1.sisx from hack archive
7. Launch and apply patches:
- Open4all for full access to filesystem
- Extract The Installserver which is for your Oparating System and past it in C/sys/bin
Set patches to auto if needed (Options - Add to auto)
Hacked successfuly. Install any Unsinge Application and Enjoy......

Installserver:

Installserver FP2-s60v3 like N79,E72,N96..etc....

Installserver any symbian S^3....

Important: apply correct installserver to success this method or find another installserver can right run in your devices...good luck..... Grin

I am facing an error now... The ROM Patcher says "No Data" when i open it....Kindly, provide the contents of Patches folder..... Can you help...?

Copy installserver.exe to C/sys/bin.
The only way for now, installserver.rmp stopped working on this firmware.

i have followed the above steps
but while installing xplorer.sis
i get an error certificate expired

im using nokia 500 with the belle update

Long shot and sorry to say, not the best answer or solution you looking for.

except for copying installserver.exe to C/sys/bin, you don't need xplore. The builtin file browser can take care of the installation of norton and rompatcher. Once you run norton and restoring. Install rompatcher and apply installserver patch and try to install xplore.

I have used nortan hack on my C5-03..
So is it safe and ok to replace the telgesturecontrols.mif file situated in resources/apps/ which i found while using y browser. ??
