Nokia N8 - Symbian Belle - fast dEsire v5.2 full translations

I need some help, I flashed to 5.1 and now my phone isn't working. When I turn it on it just shows the black screen with the Nokia logo for like 30 seconds, then the phone shuts down...

Hi, I had the same problem yesterday. Phone dead, no connection, no way how to wake it up, just that stupid NOKIA flashing 5 times, then dead.
After the seven attempts I made a downgrade to scandinavian fw release, in Phoenix I chose NO CONNECTION instead of USB-RM596 cause the phone is no in communication with also no usb connection and marked Dead phone USB flashing, clicked Refurbish, this is working (for me).

Now I have sw upgraded to Sym Anna (reinstalled twice), but I have still som problems, the last one was no possibility to change the profiles - when I did reset factory settings, it had started.

My question to zooY is: is possible to go to v5.1 from 4.0? Or is necessary to go back to anna and after it go to v5.1

When you were flashing in dead phone mode and in NO CONNECTION, did it ask you to to disconnect the usb, then press power button and then to reconnect?
It asked me to do that but it is still "Waiting for USB device"...

when i flashed there came: verifiing connection 20... 10... 5 etc. This ia normal. But strange it doesnt work for you. Maybe you should try to flash without UDA, tell me if it woks, then!

It'll be a miracle if I can reflash this phone again... But I'll try, I'll report in a few minutes.

By the way, what did you tell the nokia guys when they noticed that your N8 was dead because of a leaked FW? lol

Ok, I just reflashed without UDA, the flash succeeded but I have the same problem: Dead phone and that black screen when I turn the phone on, after that the phone shuts down.

I just tried to roll back to 3.0 but it's impossible, downgrade to Anna: Impossible... I guess I'll have to take my phone the repair center. Verify that you uploaded the correct CFW, perhaps that's the issue.

I tried the same way, but the only one solution was to reflash to FW called SCANDINAVIAN, i saw some link here in this website, then I flash to Anna, directly from OVI.

hum! I flashed my Device right now with the Version 5.1 when it's Succeed  flashing it restart alone and it writen ( Nokia ) and it turn off alone. what was that?

 Your phone is still alright because i had the same problems too, and i flashed back Soni 's CFW, now the phone is working great.

Ok, I installed the Scandinavian Anna and everything is working great, however, I want Belle, and of course the latest leak. So, can I install it now from the official Anna without any issue? I got too used to Belle to roll back to Anna...

hmmm. Strange. Im sure i uploadet the right version When it doesnt work without UDA, the hack seems to be the proble (installserver wit log by coderus). Maybe someone can try without my rofs2 (the original one instead?). If the phone works then, ghe problem is really the hack. Because i use a version without hack (dont need it) and it works fine!
