Mess with the best, die like the rest

From the early N9 demoes and screenshots, one thing we’ve noticed is the lack of landscape orientation. Everything seems stuck in portrait. That’s ok as the main aim of the N9 MeeGo-Harmattan was one handed use.

Here are some screenshots from MeeGo forum of the homescreen in landscape.

Main App launcher

Left homescreen – Social networks and RSS

Multitask

Finally, a tweet from @klasstrom at Nokia – Nokia N9 will be getting support for YEARS and will get SEVERAL software updates.

N9 will receive limited support by Nokia, it is all for WP for Nokia at this time. Elop is making that call and nobody else.

Elop kill it because Nokia couldn`t make MeeGo work on phones after a year working on it. That is why N9 is 70% Harmattan and 30% MeeGo.
