Hi guys Sad

Yesterday I flashed my Nokia 5800 with this firmware:

"Nokia 5800-RM356-C6 V40.0.021 ported by mara- [Language packs] " -> http://forum.dailymobile.net/index.php?topic=49637.0

First I changed the language for Portuguese using nokia editor v.3 then I flashed it with jaf. The flashing process was completed (and at the end it showed up the version that was installed in a white screen with blue letters).

But now when I press the power button i ear the vibration but the screen is black, nothing happens?!    What should i do to fix it?

Please help me and sorry for bad english   Cry

Yesterday i flashed it more then 5 times with the same firmware. I also tried to change this file RM-356_52.0.007_prd.core.C00 to .c0r extension but still the same problem.

But as you proposed i didnt flashed with the original firmware. I will try that when I got home later.

Does anyone has more suggestions? My Phone is dead and i really need. Give me as many tips as you can guys, i appreceate it!

Well i not shure if you are asking about this but i flashed my phone with this cfw version "Nokia 5800-RM356-C6 V40.0.021 ported by mara" and these are the files that are inside my "Phoenix" folder:

RM-356_52.0.007_026_000_U01.uda.fpsx
RM-356_52.0.007_C01_prd.rofs3.fpsx
RM-356_52.0.007_prd.core.C00
RM-356_52.0.007_prd.rofs2.V01
RM356_0570022_52.0.007_002.dcp
RM356_0570022_52.0.007_002.vpl
RM356_0570022_52.0.007_002_signature.bin

I inicially flashed with both rofs i think.. becase jafs grabs them all automatically when clicking "use ini".

Yes you can, as long as you do flash it right next time, that mara cfw should work. Do note the procedure for flashing an official firmware based firmware is a bit different from flashing a c6 based firmware

Don't use ROFS3 for mara's port. download original FW of your phone from navifirm and flash again. charge your phone to 100% and if you want to flash v40 c6, use pnht core and uda with mara's rofs2. only these 3 files should be at phoenix folder. empty it before putting mara's files.

which version are you using on 5800 ? v52.007 or v52.101 ?
http://www.filesonic.com/file/917876131   --> this is for v52.007, CORE+UDA files for flashing.
if you use v52.101, use the core from the link you gave.

also you don't have to put the files in Phoenix folder.
make a new folder on desktop, put your core rofs2 and uda files into that folder.
while flashing with jaf, tick manual flash+normal mode+dead usb. Untick crt 308 and DONT tick use ini.
first tick MCU and select your C0r file.(you should rename your C00 core to C0r.)
then select PPM and select your ROFS2 file.
and last select ape variant and select your uda file and FLASH.
