Hi,

I'm new here, and I've tried to search, but haven't found the answer, maybe my search terms were not the right ones.

Is this actually based on S^3 or is it S60v5 modified with S^3 features?
You said it is based on the C6v40 firmware, is this C6-00 (S60v5) or C6-01 (S^3)?

I'm really looking forward to installing cfw for the first time, my N97mini RM-553 has been having a lot of software issues lately, opening compost text and opening keyboard would randomly cause it to shutdown as if the battery was pulled, now I lost my data, seems access points were lost, and my icon/menu organization was lost too on a full reboot. Other issues too. It's a Rogers phone, so stuck on original v11 fw.

Does this include Qt? Or will it install when I install an app that requires it?

Thanks!

Does the RM make that much of a difference?

Any suggestions on a similar cfw for rm-553?

And my other questions? S^3 or still S60v5? Qt?

No suggestions from my side but it is S60V5...get one thing very clear you cant run S^3 on S60V5 as both have different libraries and different hardware capabilities...and in this CFW you can install QT...

Downloaded and tried it. Keyboard mapping was wrong, so I had to uninstalled. Too bad though, the fw seems nice.

Hi, I'm not from the philippines, actually Nicaragua.

Anyway, my keyboard is English, I think I have a UK phone. (555-Euro1)

Thanks, I will try it later. Should I delete the other ptikeymappings too?
