Question. Ovi Maps can be updated? No maps, but the program itself. For example if you want 3.07.

@darkydawson
What kind of error you are getting., I have no error and able to download anything from Ovi store easily and everything's working fine..

@freaxs_r_us
It's giving crc errors coz your .vpl file has difference crc value for my Core and when you use all my files including .vpl, crc values matched and it flashed properly..

Solution is either flash in dead usb mode (Don't connect your phone, switch it off until flashing started and then connect it still in switch off mode, it will flash fine) else you can use darkydawson method too, that's fine too..

@bzs73
Of course you can mate, I thought to include v3.07 but as it's still in beta, I added the last final release. I don't like betas that much Wink

@008Rohit
Description about cenrep, some files are missing, just google.. Wink
http://sites.google.com/site/i8910wizard/calendar/the-vmp-of-the-game

Open core editor tool, open your core (No unpack or anything) - Now select calibrate (Change all 2B to 2C)... That's it.. Now you can edit your rofs2/rofs3 with any editor and it will be fine.. I can test your cfw if I will find it more advanced.. Wink

@varunsmackboy
Appreciate mate, but it's easy for me to test myself then uploading a file and then wait for a tester's response.. But in case, I would need to test few bugs or so, I will definitely think about it.. About teaching, well I am still a learner and this is my first cfw.. Just keep reading the cfw section of DM., a lot of good stuff to read. I came to learn a lot from them Cheesy

I read some talk about custom theme animations on page 1, is it really possible? I remember reading we didn't have the tools to modify those files since they aren't the same as on earlier symbians?

@nicesoni_ash

When i go to ovi store it loads .Then i chose something to download. it starts and the bar moves until the end, then it says installing.....Instead of coming up launch in green it says error in red and has installation error underneath app name....I can look but cant have...

The only other prob I have is after flash then restore my msgs don't seem to link to my contacts. Probably ovis fault though!

@ nice_soni

So, basically I can upload only the modded ROFS's and ask users to calibrate the cores themselves?

@SirSchneider
Till now no progress, yet it's not impossible and in future we would have them for sure..

@darkydawson
That's quite strange., I dont' use OVI store too often but just coz you are having trouble, I tried downloading Nimbuzz and it downloaded and installed perfectly and now I am using it without any problem., about your other restoring problem.., that's strange too coz backup and restoring is the first bug I tried and there wasn't any bug.., everything went fine.. Kindly format one more time and instead of installing Ovi my way, just check for app updates in your N8 and update from there .., That might solve the problem..

@008Rohit
Yes that's right, but not every one can calibrate it easily., and there would be so many questions in your thread about that.., so better to update 100+ once and then just concentrate on updating rofs files Wink
