i want to update a CFW on my X6 , but now it shows " phone startup failed contact the retailer" even the JAF shows no error at all... what to do?

try to redownload the firmware files and flash again.

Try to relfash with OFW and it should revive. Dont attempt a downgrade.

Same thing happened to me. Just reflash the firmware but make sure you don't downgrade!

Just Hard reset and your phone will get started.
i solved this problem by doing a hard reset, now everything is fine.

by pressing green + red + camera button together, keep pressing them and start the phone..... your phone will b hard reset..

but this works only for 5800, x6 and 523x


for n97 and c6 :
    * Caps shift
    * Space bar
    * Delete button
    * On button
like in photo


for 5530 there`s no official hard reset combination, but should work with the green+red+cam+on

I know this is offtopic, but if others fancing same problem, now will know how to solve it, no matter phone model

It doesn't, because the buttons are part of the touchscreen.
