Correct. Only the Unlimited Music option is getting scrapped. The store itself will remain fully functional.

I never liked their DRM music anyway...
When I buy something, I want it to be mine... unlimited!

I believe it was DRM-free.

I know..but what's the most important thing of listening to a song via ur mobile phone?? It's the quality of the songs..When u've already got it, u don't need anything else Smiley album art and tags can be easily added now..they r making songs a lil bit bigger after all Cheesy

I dont remember whether they were for N8 or N97 (because I also had N97 but removed) but they said you can download free unlimited music for life.

I believe it was DRM-free.

Ovi Music Store (which like iTunes Store for Apple) has DRM free mp3 music files. Ovi Music Store continues working normally.

Ovi Music Unlimited (OMU) is a service sold with certain phones, like N8-00 OMU. It won't be sold in most countries anymore but will still continue in certain (like China and India). OMU has DRM protected music files. With OMU you get to download as much music as you want for one year. Obviously the record companies didn't let the music be downloaded DRM free.
