Just curious about signing vs hacked installing

I know that hacked allows to install all .sis files but what about some tool that generates certificates in own machine, i have enough of those online sites.

Posted in S3 forum because soon i get C7 that needs hacked fw or offline certificate generator (cracker hacker whatever).

with certificate you couldn't use any app, and couldn't have full system access. if you have possibility to hack then do it better

teamb bought signing privelegies for some price and provide free certificates for peoples

its all online.only

i have siging tool.it can sign any unsigned app offline.no need if intrnet.

Hacked: You can Install any file and skip the signing process and can access "system" files

Non Hacked: Some Files need to be signed to install, you wont have access to system files and some files wont even install even if you signed it (installers that require access to system files)

*To be able to sign files, you need to have a certificate which some sites can generate for you based on your phones IMEI. Once you have the "certificate" and "key" you need to use a "Signer App" in order to sign them using your Phone or your PC. No need to go online in signing apps. Other persons certificate wont work since your phones IMEI must be compatible with the certificate.

yes i install soon some hacked rom but that signing thing plagues me still: why online sites can generate cert based on imei??? i should be able too generate cert with some tool offline ??what is difference, how they can create and what is their tools for generating cert.

Anyway Nokia (other S3 users too) should officially drop that signing nonsense...

most still in development apps are unsigned and also pirated apps as well. So signing isnt really a problem for much.

Nokia did this so you have a picket fence around you protecting your phone from "illegal" apps and protecting the developers... but you will still be able to jump over it unlike apple. Most people wont really bother signing apps.
