I did as you wrote, and the phone is switched on. I wanted to call a number and I wrote Warning qtn_debug_pe_failed_at_startup. what is the way forward? sorry my english is poor

well mate, i have no idea where'd you get that error from...i have checked my uploaded file (i have personally downloaded it and reflash it to my phone just to test) and it worked just fine. so i can conclude from this that my file is working.

maybe your flashing method is wrong? that's just an assumption.

have you tried hard resetting your phone?

once you flash, you might want to hard reset your phone and format your micro sd card...

well, that's the only solution i can offer as for now as i have never came across such error with my cfw...

it's weird. I do not know what's wrong. Flash has been transferred without Memory Card. still shows an error. when you turn on your mobile phone handset which is not a Memory Card can not do a hard reset. I will I believe that it is fully functional as I have some problem.try to advise what is wrong. I had no problem with earlier CFW from you.  sorry my english is poor. thank you for early response.

EDIT> After pressing the keyboard only see a blank desktop with a blank key buttons. I can not made with a hard reset. After pressing the button for call termination notice qtn_debug_pe_failed_at_startup write.   What now?   sorry my english is poor.

EDIT 1>  I made over JAF Sys File format drive C and Z drive. the phone is switched on the same problem. qtn_debug_pe_failed_at_startup

well yes, you need to connect your phone to the PC

BUT, you need to flash your phone with my file (and PNHT C6 firmware files)

you can read the tutorial on how to flash on the link below

http://forum.dailymobile.net/index.php?topic=24990.0

*i strongly suggest you follow and understand the tutorial closely so as not to brick your phone*

you can try hard resetting it after flashing...and do backup of your memory card and then format it clean.

some issues that i observed, make sure you have the latest NSU and flashing cable driver. i reformatted my laptop last time and installed everything concerned with flashing, and when i flashed, i got various problem. due to outdated drivers. so i update my NSU and everything works fine.

05 September 2010

This is my latest CFW release for 5530xm

I used the C6 v11 ported by PNHT as the base and added in Liliantungary n97 mini mod as well as some of my own mods  Grin Grin Grin

This is just a customisation mod. I am NOT releasing a new ported CFW of n97 mini. Since the base CFW is the same as PNHT C6 v11, so any similarities can be expected.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Changelog for this new release:-

System
- disabled ovi contacts
- faster startup (disable useless apps from starting)
- remove FOTA cache
- N97 mini mod (by liliantungary)
- default framerate increased to 30 fps
- max CPU usage level increased to 100%
- max resource cache disabled to reduce memory load
- UI acceleration complexity factor reduced to reduce CPU and system load (more responsive)
- system cache changed to e:/system/cache (by default system cache reside in phone memory)
- browser cache drive changed to e:/
- file cache validity reduced to 15 seconds before checking to server
- directory cache validity reduced to 30 seconds before checking to server
- kinetic scrolling improved (decreased mass and gravity / friction parameter for better performance)

Camera
- camera sounds are disabled when used in silent profile
- default storage location for pictures and videos are now set to memory card
- video stabilisation is now enabled when recording videos
- camera application does not keep running in background when closed (by default the camera app stays in RAM)
- number of frames per second when recording in night mode is now increased to 15 fps

Voice Recorder
- default storage location for voice recording application is set to memory card
- increased volume setting for earpiece when using voice recorder
- increased volume setting for improved high frequency when using voice recorder
- default voice recording quality set to 'high'
- maximum recording time increased to 12 hours (720 minutes)

Messaging
- number of sent messages kept in 'sent items' folder set to 999

Personalisation
themes removed from original PNHT C6
- dark
- light
- nokia theme white

theme added (lilian's n97 mini mod)
- nseries 1
- nseries 2
- nseries 3
- nseries 4

Credits
- PNHT (for porting over the C6 v11 CFW to nokia 5530)
- Liliantungary (for making the n97 mini mod)

 Grin Grin Grin

Thoroughly confused now.  This is definitely not like standard flashing.  I have never needed Nokia Editor.

If I don't need extra language files and I want to use my original product code and OFW can I just use Rofs2 from your mod?  Which files from PNHT do I need? (It looks like Rofs3 is missing so I need my own Rofs3 right?)  Do I need to change my product code to match his?

Update: Figured out one way.  Just replace Rofs2 with PNHT's Rofs2 file and flash.  Don't use your own OFW files from Navifirm at all.  Don't use any Rofs3 file at all.  English language and region came up just fine.  PNHT's version is for Euro3.
