The prices are nice. The new itouch and nano are very teasing. The itouch would probably be near the price range of a 5800

A 16gig nano with multi-touch for AU$229 at the apple store which will be around $200 anywhere else (good guys, harvey norman, etc) IMO is very worth the well earned cash, thats if your an audiophile with a giant music collection like me. though 20hz minimum range is pretty poor since my earphone can handle 10-12hz (which i know is pointless, but it those give that little extra in the lows when listening to house music)..

while my n97 can handle well down to 10hz if not lower but the battery struggles as i sometimes listen to music all day long at work and need to make/take calls and use a bit of surfing during breaks (to check DM ofcourse Smiley)

so i might actually be thinking of getting one, just for a toy Tongue

I would say none of the Apple products is worth the money if you drop the brand name. However, Apple is a magician when it comes to marketing, so the price factor is not really relevant in their products...
