Hi guys, I recently upgraded my firmware using nokia pc suite so I could take advantage of nokia maps/satnav.
Having upgraded when I go into my gallery I seem to have about 100 corrupted images/files, when I go to delete a file its name is "tqsrsrstrrqqqtt" every one is named as this and will delete, has anyone else had this problem. Or does anyone know where these files have come from as I havnt lost any of my photos. Cheers

there are a lot of bugs and errors when updating. what i can suggest you do is to connect your phone in mass storage mode and do a scan-disk from windows.

Might try that, Ive been deleting them and everything seems to work ok, a couple of them seem to have opened and they are simple map pictures, ie like a pencil drawn map with only roads and place names shown for an area of approx 2km square, I have three of these so far and all seem to be of my local area, I,m wondering if they are anything to do with the satnav app and are snap shots of an area ive been to when playing with the phone, only they dont show a location marker. Strange I know but somebody out there might of had the same.

it might be some old maps data being read. i would suggest you delete those on your pc. it's way easier mate.

Cheers for all the replies guys most helpful, I have to delete them all manually as my usb port socket has come away from the main circuit board on the phone and nokia/3 say it is unrepairable, I have to hold the usb cable in at a certain angle for a connection to be made, it works but it dont half hurt your fingers after a while Grin, and if you move it even a fraction the connection is lost and you have to start all over again  Angry
