i bet nokia will release cellphone/s that will beat the android and iphone.. IMHO, they are just observing and collecting enough data/info on how to beat those two OS...
hehehhe
i really would like it to be trure, tho as it stands i dont think they have a chance yet.....with time maybe and we will have another revolution like we did with n95 but is it a once in a decade deal for nokia then ? or even less

Personally, I stay with Nokia because of Symbian. Yes Android and iPhone looks good, has apps that looks good, but meh, I dont buy the phone for the looks. Or the games. I buy it for having features I want and need, and good customer service.
In the Philippines, actual support for Apple and HTC are virtually non existent except for a few do it yourself-ers who ask you to pay them to do yours as well. I'd really like actual technicians to work on the phone rather than some guys from the telecom company when something comes up that I don't understand. Not that I ever needed to with Nokia. But the knowledge that there is support here is very reassuring. And they do give very good support here. My sister's 5310 has been with them for changing casings every now and then (well, she's actually very frequently dropping it, once down concrete stairs, no real damage except for a broken LCD ever, and of course a gazillion scratches), and I have no qualms about service.
The only time I would consider buying an iPhone would be close to never. Games and a hundred variations for every app (even fart apps) isnt my thing. Androids are debatable for now, as their lack of customer support here makes them not worth considering IMO. Maybe when Moto or HTC steps up support here again.

No leaked information about this. So I highly doubt it.

You gave a good reason chanchan. But I prefer visit technisian once in two or three yrs than 4 times in 7 month or hard reset and formatting twice a month. I don't like the feeling every morning wondering is it my files okay or already missing. I think the lady in Nokia Care already recognize my face well.

Actually, I do hope so. Like chanchan said, only Nokia which has official repair center everywhere. That thing can't be repacled by another vendor.

5800 has been good, modding and features
but sadly symbian is getting left behind, outdated and lacks a "modern feel" to it
android here we come
