well, it is located in rofs2>resources>apps

startup = spalshscreen.mif and startup.mif
shutdown = sysAp.mif

it must be in .mif file format, not .jpg..
convert your .jpg file n replaced it.. Wink

Germanized rofs2 added. Use it together with the rofs3 from the first post to get the firmware in German + English.

The startup and shutdown files are on C:/boot!
Change them as u want!! No need 2 apply c2z or c2z4bin patches

Using Xtension by Upakul

« Reply #28 on: 16 April 2010, 00:18 »

Its the fastest CFW i have ever used. Good job.

One problem though, the KS is way too fast... any mod to make a it normal Huh Its kinda hard to select options.. it starts scrolling =D

Please make a mod to fix this. Apart from that its a good FW !

same here....keep on tapping on the selected item to open..i've used xte2 before and i'm very happy with it and i don't see any bug...but now i have flashed my phone on this firmware xte4 3 times but still i'm having problem w/ KS..and one more bug i found on this firmware when trying to connect on WLAN when it asks for the wep key, i can't view my text file containing my wep key on the memory card coz i can't switch to file manager...i think the center button have been disabled,..pls confirm if anybody has this problem too...any help would be greatly appreciated..TIA

No buddy, the centre button is not disabled, my WLAN is working perfectly....
Just check the network type (Secured or unsecured etc) you are trying to connect to...
I can connect to 4/5 WLAN networks in my area...
