Make backup of settings, put settings.arc on rofs.
Edit scriptinit copy to E.

Code:
MD E:\Backup\
CP Z:\Scriptinit\settings.arc E:\Backup\
(I keep some of my files to be copied in a folder named Scriptinit).

Then all settings can be in cfw.
OK its working.

If now only it could auto restore the backup somehow at 1st boot and reset?

1st boot: u've done it already
reset: try to use starter_non_critical_1.rsc/autostart

I dream more in the line of getting FileManager.exe to restore settings automatically after flash.

Guess so backup folder can contain lots of things even file backups.
But my settings.arc is 420kb
If you have the space you could add any backupfile to your cfw.
Like if you wanted to add a few numbers.

Now that comment is unnecessary, don't be a hater just because you have no use for it.
I throw my idea out there in hope of someone to improve or complete it.

Do you mean that by doing that, you will find the restore settings file in the backup folder after the flashing, without puting it back manually on phone??
It is not big deal, but as you said the most imprtant thing is to restore these settings back automatically after flash, I will be very happy then  Smiley
