Marco, it's not a bug in your tool. It's like i said earlier, these phones have protected ROFS.

Nice release by the way Wink

AdoniX

Thanks for reporting, appreciated! Wink
It's interesting and I still need to investigate deeper on this matter, but unfortunately, that problem must wait untill I'll have more spare time... Smiley

The next feature I will introduce in NokiaCooker is the ability to change the ROFX images...
I think I've already implemented a working solution, but I need someone to confirm that it correctly works...

So, who owns a model containing a ROFX image and wants to make a couple of tests to improve the software, please propose yourself on this thread writing your phone model (Note: make sure that your device supports the dead-usb flashing)

Unfortunately, I can't try on my N95 because it doesn't support the dead-usb flash, so, in case of error I will be forced to bring the n95 to the nokia center.

Let's cook 5320's firmware~~
my phone 5320's model is RM-416
then instead the language file of RM-409's (RM-416,5.16.1  RM-409,5.401)~~~the same way as you have different RM from me!
It do not check hash when you flash your phone with JAF!
So,just cook it~
ps:any version of language file~~that's OK..try it.

Thanks for the report... that's because the X6 uses a FAT32 file-system, while my tool can handle FAT16 only...

However, I'm currently working on it to include FAT32 support too Smiley

You have to provide more informations... Did you tried the tool? Doesn't work at all for the E51? Why? Does it show any error message? Does it properly works for the UDA?

hi! sorry about that!
when i open rm244_40034011_prd.v12 it says: "Note: Only ROFS Can be repacked... ROFX can't be repacked yet!" so i just can repack NOW? but someday yes?
with the "Nokia Firmware Editor" from PNHT, i can open, but it says that if i repack it'll damage my cellphone... because some king of block on the file... your app have fixed this?
thanks a lot  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Exactly, in the current version you can't repack that firmware file, because it is in ROFX format...
And, I think I've already introduced the support for ROFX, but I need someone to test it! If you're available, then send me a pm and we will make a couple of test Wink so will be possibile to flash the E51, N95 and all the devices that have a ROFX image.

The next feature I will introduce in NokiaCooker is the ability to change the ROFX images...
