Copied right from Engadget, here goes:

Quote
Android 2.1
11.5mm thick
512MB RAM, 512MB ROM, 4GB microSD in-box expandable to 32GB
5 megapixel camera with mechanical AF and LED flash
HSPA 900 / 1700 / 2100, 7.2Mbps down and 2Mbps up -- in other words, yes to T-Mobile 3G and no to AT&T 3G, though you'll still be fine on EDGE
3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED display

and also for more detailed specs check it out for yourself:
http://www.engadget.com/2009/12/23/exclusive-nexus-one-full-specs-detailed-invite-only-retail-sal/

Personally I think this will be my next phone if it gets reasonably priced here in Sweden Grin

It is expected that Mexus One will be announced officially on 5th January.
It is also expected that it will be available in Holland by the end of January. Tongue

This Android 2.1 powered baby seems to have the same hardware as HTC Bravo.
All I can say: Bravo! Smiley

@falcon86,
One obvious difference is that Nexus One is without a physical keyboard (which is great for me, as I don't like physical keyboards).
Further, it looks like Nexus One will be more powerful and advanced than the Droid.
We will know more after the official introduction of the phone.

im not touching an android phone untill nokia makes one, never liked HTC, dunno why but ill guess it has something to do with that they only maked windows mobile phones.

Bro I felt the same.. then I came to my senses! Like the other guy said - Nokia's ego is too big for them to jump on the Android bandwagon. Well not straight away anyways, so you would be waiting for a while.. unless you try a HTC handset. Personally I'm keeping an eye on the SE X10, the combination of SE and Google Android - is like bread and butter!  Cheesy

As for my opinion I think that HTC is the company with the best aspects of using phones, they are really good in software updates with new firmwares and stuff for their old phones. they are also good in coming with innovative with their phones on both hardware and the software side. the only thing that HTC is not so good at is the camera in their phones, They can't produce functioning cameras in their phones. Now if HTC were to merge with Sonyericsson (IMO they have been making the finest camera-phones on the market since it began) in the smartphone business then I would straight away change my phone into an HTC.

And with this phone they have combined some fine addition with the Google experience which ultimately will provide this phone with new updates like android 2.5 and so on.

Thank you usta! Smiley
So the Nexus One has no physical keyboard and 1 GHz instead of 550 Mhz, but the other hardware specifications (as known) are almost the same, right?

I've read almost everything about Android, Droid/Milestone and Nexus One today Grin and made my desicion.
Nexus One is a cool and powerful device, but I don't like HTC and want to try a physical keyboard and the Milestone looke more nice and elegant. Cool
After 10 years Nokia (only Nokia) I am going to sell my 5800 XM to say hello to Android. Shocked
Btw. it is not because of the FW (v35/v40)(I know for what I bought the phone), but because of the lazy Nokia support and the lots of bugs.
Hope Motorola and Android are good at this, but I heard good things about.

do any of the phones (Nexus, Droid) have a 3D video card like iPhone ?
just wondering.. since I saw a hands on video of Droid vs. iPhone 3GS, and Droid is up to the competition to iPhone in every possible manner excluding multi touch. Though, the iPhone games such as NFS undercover, shift, driver  etc are having awesome graphics almost like PSP.
I'm really confused of what I should buy, iPhone or Motorola Milestone (Droid) :s

@mack5800,
There are a few things to consider:
1) Droid or Nexus are on Android, so this creates differences on how well games run on Android versus iphone (assuming they are similarly programmed).
2) There are more games available for iphone than in Android.
3) Nexus One has almost twice faster CPU than Droid and iphone. In most cases a powerful CPU may compensate for the lack of graphics power.
You can also buy a Droid or Nexus and if they are not good enough for gaming, then buy also an ipod touch... Smiley

The droid packs the same graphics and processor chip that the iphone does, the only difference (besides it being downclocked to 550mhz) is that the iphone is one stand-alone phone and this make the game developers to the iphone possible to implement more specific hardware graphic b/c they know that it will work on every single handset. Now android on the other hand got tons of phones coming out which ultimately will have it harder to develop nice graphics for every single phone. This is why there ain't so good games for android handsets as of now. But now with the "second generation" android handsets which is not packing the same old Qualcomm 528mhz processor. we will see some serious improvements in the gaming department. It's just a matter of time before the droid and the nexus one will have the same gaming experience as  the iphone. we just need to have some patience, that's all. Smiley
