little bit faster: tried this trick & checked it with energy profiler on 5800xm..it showed that the phone draws a little more current from the battery while running with this trick..

    kinda overclock trick or what?

How the fuck do i reverse this "speed" thing that doesn't work?
Now none of the standard programs close when I click "exit"
It doesn't speed up the phone, it just seems faster because all programs are always open. I have to manually close them i task manager to save my battery from dying i 1 hour.

i think that's the point in this thing ............IS to keep the apps opened to slide easier trough them but it will also kill your battery

The first two tasks must be created. This is done with the following menu:
    >Options
    >New entry
    >Task

Create the following two tasks in the following order:

    1.Task

    *Subject: Speed
    * Due Date: 04.08.2005
    *Priority: High

    2.Task

    *Subject: Qoukie
    *Due Date: 04.08.2005
    *Priority: Low

Confirm with OK both tasks. The calendar does not close before!

Choose now the task of view on the following menu:

    *Options
    *Task view

Set Speed first, followed by Qoukie menu is done:

    *Options
    *Done

Under this approach, you can close the calendar and the current date back correctly.

From now should speed the navigation menu significantly increase. Also, the gallery should now be a performance boost get.

After a reboot or reset the phone, the effect is lost. After the switch, everything has to be repeated

*This is for all s60 Devices.
I do all the process but nothing happens ! The date still remains the same !
I don't understand when you say "Options --> task view" is it for open ??

And how to set speed first ? When you say done, it means the task is finished ?

Please answer, i really want to get my menu faster, it's so boring when it's laggy like mine :O

    Thanks. A french guy.

I've never done this, will never try it. As I've seen it many times, there's no measurable difference, no benchmarks.

And I don't wanna be mister high horse, but if some people like the placebo effect, let's not insult anyone's intellect. If people are willing to type this in every time they turn their phone on for the "speed boost", let them. Least they feel they've a faster phone.

Although the last few pages were funny, flat out insults such as "I CANTZ BELEVE PPL R FALLING FER THIS STILL ITZ BEN 90 YEARS SENSE ITZ BEN RELEESED." is just jackass-ish. Oh and I loved the Time Travel and Swap Memory one.
