    hello my good sir sanja, please do enlighten me,im the noob with the e5. i did follow your instruction but i cant seems like to do it the way you said it coz when im on the stage that i need to flash my phone using phoenix it said an error unable to connect to server or something,whats the catch?and on the tut where i use phoenix to manage my connection, theres an existing usb connection,do i have to use it or i have to delete it and create a new one?or do i have to use jaf instead of phoenix?please help me, im at your mercy...

    use existing connection. try to use phoenix http://phoenixslayer.blogspot.com/20...108441526.html yes it's old but good. there are also jaf. if you will use jaf then read manual how to flash in dead mode.

    by the way sir sanja, when i connect my "off" phone via usb it said the device is unplugged under nokia usb rom (windows said that my device in connected on non compatible usb, something like that).also on phoenix where i need to check dead phone usb flashing,the button is unavailable (gray).im using win7 64bit.i also tried using jaf but when i run the pkey it said unsupported with my version of windows...

    if you connect off phone then you need to select not usb connection but no connection.
    for jaf on win 7 64 bit search here i guess was some manual..

    for win7 i have a guide but on mobile so its hard to link my site.

    Basically, plug the off phone in before running jaf. Press the power button, dont hold it. Win7 will try and fail to install drivers. Do this again 1-2 more times til you can press power without windows trying to search.
    Then you wont have issues with jaf finding it at flash time. Always use that usb port or you have to repeat on the other port.

    Also, set Jaf.exe and pkey.exe to 'run as administrator' and 'compatibility mode for winxp sp2'

    I'll leave that to another, i havent used phoenix in months, since i flashed a debranded fw by nokia on this phone. Been usin jaf ever since.

    put connection mode to NO CONNECTION, not USB
