    You can have smileys in sms anyway, it's been around a long time, just have to edit the symbol table and use RP+ patch, at least someone with half a brain has realised these are for IM client. Sadly, for the others in cuckoo dream land, modders will not be integrating these into the symbian messaging client.

    very good choice of words mate. i've been around the modding scene quite a while, as you can see, and i didn't realize that they are for the IM client, because I don't use the IM client. do i not have half a brain?

    if someone actually wants to do it, they will. for me though, it's pointless because the person on the receiving end of the sms should have the same edited files or support for smileys.
