But being serious for the moment. It seems that my 5230 always slows down. This is NOT the fault of this hack. This always happens. You reboot it and it starts out quick then the menus begin to slow down. For example if I press the menu key and it takes at least a second for it to appear.

Yes its a little faster and it will consume more of your RAM.
This means that if you run 24D don't be too surprised when applications start to close in the background or your browser suddenly closes on you.
It happens but still far less than with nokias default setting so you will be able to get much more done Quicker without your phone locking up and you having to pull the battery all the time. the 55C or 40C on the other hand is much harder to crash But If you don't have the memory for it then maybe the 24D is a better option for you.

If you're wondering why I no longer make a 32C it's because the performance is not the same as the 55C or 40C and even if you don't have 40MB free I still recommend it with 30MB besides; I'm already making too many versions as it is.

scripting is a processor hog. it will make a 3GHZ cpu run like a 2.5 GHZ cpu.
It's hard to live without on a PC but on a mobile device its not a problem.
Its also a serious security risk and for the most part it's unnecessary for web developers to even use.

But if you don't believe me turn it off on your PC and watch as internet pages explode on your PC screen.

Hey man, I tried it out. The response is quicker but its slightly slower on opening certain apps. But apart from that the slight speed is significant.
Looking forward to better updates man, keep up the awesome work!

bronxboy, can you please create 55C Turbo-KC for the X6 without the modded auto-rotate?

    Thanks a bunch

Hey tahnks, the mod does nice work overall. I'm using it on X6 16GB.
Most improvement I see in the browser and front camera.
Performance in menu and screen rotation seems the same.

The rotating main screen however is rather nasty
Is there a way to turn that off?

There were problems but I just released a bunch of new ones for the N97 to address this.
some of the new versions actually put a 256MB system cache on E and the browser cache on D.
the result is an incredibly stable OS capable of handling anything you throw at it.
