I'm on it. but first i need to know that this is caused by my hack.

go to settings/Phone/Sensor settings/Turning control and make sure Auto-rotate display is checked.

in the meantime I need conformation from another 5800 user whose having the same problem.

I need to know exactly what version you're using too.

Classic all the benefits of the latest beta but with the old style PJP 6 v7 KS which doesn't have installation issues

Beta this is the newest or "state of the art most recent release with known and in some cases unknown issues". People were having trouble installing the previous versions due to the KS and others didn't like the KS which is why we have the Classic. But this is what I use.

PJP 6 v8 is only there because its the original rock solid solution. but its performance is not on the same level as the newer releases. However lets say for instance (and this really just happend ) I just got a report that the PJP8 v4's screen rotation is not working. if this is true you 5800 users can fall back to PJP6 or your last working version till i sort it out.

At least you see what I'm up against. while fixing this guys I could end up breaking it for everybody.

Btw i just tested it and the same thing. But i don't think it was the Java. its likely better memory management that just remembers it longer now.
but I can't wait to get to that. I'm on 3 forums with this thing. I just want to get a stable release going for the X6 guys and then I can have a rest. look at my Activity!

you don't need to do a hard reset just install it again or keep trying till it takes. or use the Classic and try to install the beta ontop of it.

    Edit to previous post.....

Left the phone on the sofa for a while taking care of my daughter and now suddenly everything seems fine. Smooth scrolling and browsing seems faster.

Still want my files to be downloaded to memorycard...F:/download
Is it possible to change manually...

    My N97 mini is unhacked.

    Regards

    Rastamanne
