5- Now point to your original .mif file and add it.
6- Now in contents you can see .mif file added
7- Now right click on this added .mif file select option view details
8- Now you can see .svg entries in your case there will be only one .svg (if there are multiple delete all except one)
9- Right click Entry 01 and select option replace and now point it to your .svg that you want to add and after that click close
10- Now you are back on the screen with contents, now right click the .mif file that you added previously and select option export.
11- Thats it your exported file is your newly created .mif and you can place it where you want to . Discard the changes in sis file that has nothing to do now.

I hope you get it now. Cheers
    ooo..now i'm clear about that..I realize i've done totally wrong way...thanks a lot...another +1 thanks for you...

z:\\resource\\apps\\startup.gif is the path to first startup screen and

z:\\resource\\apps\\splash.jpg is the path to second startup screen.

    Explained here.

In the original firmware nokia hand is first startup screen and second is disabled by default. First blue screen can be changed by changing mif.

I think using splash.jpg(.txt) is better than using Jpeg=>MIF(conversion from jpg). When i converted Jpeg to Mif , my file is too big, around 700 to 750 kb. So when i started my phone, there was no splashscreen mif and went straight to startup.gif .
Maybe there is a limit on how much "kb" you use for splashscreen and sysap.mif.
