Default [INFO] How to backup gallery organization on Nokia 5800 XM

    Hi all!

I have just discovered where gallery organization is stored. I do not know if someone already knew it, but I asked many times and I never found an answer. So, I think it could be useful for someone and I share in this section to you, because it can be used only with hacked phones.

If some programmer has the time, it could be even possible to build a gallery tool to organize it offline by PC/Mac!!!! The file structure it's very simple, but I have no time to make a tool.

The gallery index is stored into [drive]:\101f8857\CLFCollections.dat

    So, enjoy!!!

    Hi m8!

Did you mantain the same directory structure? I think index files works only with the same structure...or even the same files on memory...let's try.
Anyway, would be great if someone could program a tool to manage that index file...at that point, could be possibile to modify directory and file strucuture too!!!!

    Thanks for your feedback!

    Welcome m8.

For music player index file is on e:\Private\101ffca9\harvesterdbv9_5.dat

Anyway, with fw 50 is useless, because music index is rebuilt almost immediately!!!

Note: This trick doesn´t work on N97 (it doesn´t have the 10158857 folder).

Anyone knows how to backup gallery settings on a N97 ??

    Thanks !!!
