Default Install the N97's firmware on 5800?

Why we can not directly install the N97's firmware on 5800 device?

Well the RM numbers don't match up, so it probably wouldn't even start. I know for a fact atleast somebodies tried this before. If it'd work we'd have it by now.

The hardware is not the same or similar:
    Touch vs Fisic buttons
    Camera pixels
    CPU
    3D Chip
    Resolution

Is there a way to change the RM number accepted by the phone?

N97 does not have a grafix chip (If you mean it by 3D chip)
The cpu and resolution are the same
Differences are keys (buttons) and camra pixels

Anyway I think those differences make it difficult as each device uses different drivers

I do not know about RM can anyone explain it?

    I readed n95, no n97.. Sorry

The RM code determine de region..

RM 356 has a config for Europe
    RM 428 for American

If you use a RM 356 in american the 3g not works..

And you can flash a rm 428 with a rm 356, and it works good(Except 3g)

Try to remane RM installation files (RM-505 to RM-356), also edit ROFS2, ROFS3 for some *.txt files which contain system version info (also rename them)
Maybe phone accep it to flash by JAF, but result just a dead phone
Camera, Fm Transmitter, Keyboard, Extra Sensor driver, USB charging cause to driver errors...
Also number of N97 flash files different from number of 5800 flash files...
