Default Will my unlocked Nokia 5530xm stay unlock after update to v20 fw?

Hi, I have a few questions about my new unlocked Nokia 5530xm.

    1) Will my unlocked Nokia 5530xm stay unlock after update to v20?

    2) Will my unlocked Nokia 5530xm stay unlock after format?

    3) What program should I use to update my firmware? Nokia Software Updater OR J.A.F?

    4) Will my phone brick?

I'm new to Nokia cell phone =x sry

    Thanks,

    CK

It depends how you unlocked it, if by HelloOX2 then possibly NO for questions 1 & 2, just check it HelloOX2 website whether it supports the FW version which you are planning to update..

You should always use Nokia software update if you are new and feel noobish but if you want to try and have some patience then better with JAF, Download your Original FW from NAVIFIRM..

    Wait!

Are you talking about unlocked from a service provider?

    or

Are you talking about a hacked handset?

YES. fw update does not add any kind of lock to a unlocked device.

NO. if you are talking about unlocked as in hacked then the new cfw need to be pre hacked.
Your phone will not be hacked with original firmware.
