    Default Modding Touchscreen Sensitivity

I read something about modding Winmob phones' touchscreen sensitivity.
And I think the 5800's ts should be more sensitive, because pressing on the screen is very annoying.
    So my question is:

Could any modder search the files which control the ts' sensitivity and mod them?

    would be really great

there's no way you can adjust touch screen sensitivity by software means. Either you upgrade the hardware (unfortunately you can't) or make the CPU run faster in various ways so it can respond to your touch faster. If touchscreen sensitivity could be adjusted by software means, I bet Nokia would have done it long time ago, you don't think they wanna cut down the sensitivity of their phone's touchscreens and lose their customers?

i also think that if the adjusting of the ts via software would be possible... nokia would have this done

if you are dont happy with your phone wha did you buy it
i am verry comfortable with my n97 mini and the sensebility of the ts

nokia has already changed the sensitivity by updating to v30, so it must be possible.

    Hi,
    gogo61

It is not possible to adjust sensitivity... coz nokia 5800 uses Resistive touch screen.... in this type of touch screen little pressure is required while input where as iphone uses capacitative touch screen in this type if u hardly apply ur finger on screen it responds... so it is not possible to increase or decrease in sensitivity unless u disassemble and replace it with capicittative screen.... :P

it must be possible because these winmob phones have resistive screens, too.
I don't think changing the 5800's touch panel to a capacitive one would make sense because the software wouldn't support it, would it?
