Some time ago i applied the PNHT hack to my n97 mini v.12.0.110 without any problems or errors, with phoenix. Worked just great.

However now i have another n97 mini, the music version and i get crc error from phoenix when trying to flash (with the same hacked PNHT 11.0.45 file as before) :/
Is it safe to "ignore" that by replacing the hacked uda.fpsx with the original on the fly?
I mean click refurbish with genuine FW, get a message about missing optional file, then swap the hacked file in and continue?

Oh and about the downgrading.. I was stupid enough to think 11.0.45 is newer than 11.0.102 so i tried to flash my 102 to 45.
It went for awhile until phoenix aborted it.. phone hung up, but after a minute or 2 it started itself, phew.

    yes, uda replacing is safe.

however, since you "downgraded", your PM might have been corrupted. are you experiencing the phone restarting every 10 minutes mate?

Actually yes, it is restarting awfully lot!
Not every 10mins, but too much anyways.
And it usually reboots several times in a row. Plus some other weird behaviour like memory full or similar error. I just thought i have a bad mem card.
Did i broke my phone :sadface
What is this PM you talked about and is there a way to fix it?

then it's not your PM, just buggy Nokia firmware

if it were your PM that was corrupted. your phone will restart exactly every ten minutes due to a security feature, but if it's random, then it's not

to test this, you could time your phone. start it, start the timer, don't do anything to the phone, just let it sit there. if after ten minutes, it restarts on its own, then it's probably your pm. if not, then buggy Nokia firmware.

Ah i see. Nice inside knowledge m8.
Never even heard that 10min reboot cycle before.
My phone just randomly restarts so corrupted PM it isnt then. dunno if thats good or bad news, lol.

Ive had loads of problems with this phone anyway. This is one of the earliest -09 versions. Other one i had was very new, only few months old and it worked way better.
oreo27 Do you have any knowledge about any known defects with earliest n97 minis? Or parts that have been changed for the newer versions vs this oldish -09? I would really like to know if those are the cause of weird behaviour, gps problems etc.
I remember n97 had that gps and camera problems with the earliest versions which nokia changed for newer ones.

    But back to the topic.
Thanks for the hack PNHT ! it rocks!
Succesfully installed it again with v.12.0.110
Need to get a paypal account and donate few euros.

Yeah hack works nicely. All .rmp patches are just great

However the random restarts persist :/
Memory full etc errors even tho i have 54mb of RAM free.
I was thinking could the hacked FW cause this?
    Any ideas?

    Happy new year all btw
