    Default Own Theme + Certificat??

    Hello,

I have a problem .. If I get a certificate in Carbide.ui 3.4 to create my own theme, then it shows me still install the certificate has expired .. How do I create a valid certificate for my own theme so that I can publish it?

I'm guessing you would have to purchase one. Try looking at symbian signed or the Nokia Forums.

Buy? Should we buy a certificate? I would like to offer my theme for free .. The Carbine there is the option to create a certificate, but it says to me if I transfer it to the phone and install it, it has expired ..

Go get a dev cert. (search the forum) and sign it that way then. Not sure if it will work, but you can try. Like I said, you could also try symbian signed.

Sorry, I'm probably asking obvious question, but did you create a key pair first?
It should be possible to create a certificate with Carbide.ui. I mean, I did so, so it can't be very difficult

A dev cert from chinese sites is IMEI specific so it wont work for him, if he wants to share his themes.
