if needed i can post screen shot of menu under connectivity option..... there is no wlan option there ....
Was it there before? If yes, then most likely a reset should restore it.

hi usta, thanks for the recommendation. i've downloaded Nimbuzz...but i had no luck

still i cant connect into it via Wifi proxy in my campus.
I guess because it uses proxy that requires username and password. Never try to connect on public wifi.

    any ideas?

    thanks

There is not much you can do, but here are a few tips:
    * Try not to close the WiFi antenna with your fingers (left top side of the phone).
    * Set the power saving option off in the advanced settings of the phone
    * Try to boost the router settings
    * Try to better position the router physically and redirect the antenna properly

    @ayuk,
In summer Nimbuzz announced that they are working on a solution to make it possible for the application to work behind the proxy. Since I'm not using proxy, I can't test the current situation.
You can simply ask them via email or in their forum if they have found a solution.

I hope you didn't put a Chinese Firmware on it: those versions don't have the WiFi.
If that is the case, you'll have to change the product code and flash the FW again...

hi usta, thanks for your answer

Today i just went to mall, and tried to connect to public wifi, but it said "no webgate reply".

wats wrong with that? it didnt require username and password i think.

    thanks
