Default Help setting up WPA2 Connection

I have a wirless connection that uses settings here on campus, it works on my laptop
but I cant seem to find the equivalent settings on my phone I hope someoen can try to walk me through it

    on my laptop
    The Security type: WPA2-Enterprise
    Encryption type: TKIP
    Network authentication method: PEAP

    In advacned settings
    Validate server settings: Checked
Trusted root certificate: Thawte Premium Server CA
    Connect to these servers: uwo.ca

    Authenticaton method: EAP-MSCHAP V2,
and when i asked to connect first tiem i put in my univeristy log in and password , and uwo.ca as my logon domain, and it works fine

    on phone:
i went to connectivity, destinations, selected the connection (Eduroam)
The Security mode is : WPA/WPA2
I hit wlan security settings, and the WPA/WPA is : EAP
I click EAP plug in settings, heres i think what im doing wrong
EAP-PEAP is enabled, but so are EAP-SIM and EAP-AKA (should i disable them)
I click on EAP-PEAP, under authority certificate I put in Thawte Premium server like my laptop
Under username in use: from certificate
and realm (what is realm??) : from certificate
    TLS Privacy: off
    Allow PEAPv0 and Peapv1: yes
    allow peapv2: no
At the top theres a little arrow i click and it takes me to the EAPs, I enabled
EAP-MSCHAPv2 but EAP-SIM and EAP-AKA are also enabled
i click on MSCHAPV2, and put in my username and password where it asks, and Prompt Password: No
I try to conncet, it never does
i was hoping someone with mroe experience then me, can help me tranfer my working settings on the laptop that I mentioned above, to the phone, its very frustrating
Thanks so much to anyone who has experience with this and tries to help

My friend did it on the iPhone so easily without having to do all these settings

Well, try scanning for wlan from phone, then when access point is found, add your password to the connection.
    And try to connect.

I didn't think that the 5800 supported WPA enterprise.

Are you connecting via router or adhoc?

    Is there security enabled?

what sites are you trying to access?

Delete the current wifi connection and add it again.

Well, I did buy this fantastic Nokia 5800 last week and I have to say it is really really FANTASTIC !!
much easier to hold in the hand than an iPhone, very easy touchscreen and virtual keyboard,
very rapid initiating and reacting GPS, fantastic WIFI, very strong looking, solid GSM, etc etc etc ...
Very good FM radio also : when you put only the first part of the earphones in the connector and not the earphones connected, you have the music on the speakers of the Nokia.
Now I had to look very long for getting a contact with my protected wifi router, because of always NO GATEWAY respons ..
I found out that you have to go much deeper in the menu to put in there your GATEWAY and DNS numbers.
So, now all works FINE and I tell you what I did :

first of course you have to create your network profile with the name of your network.
Once that is done you have to see that profile, click on it options and then EDIT.
There you find connection name/data bearer Wireless LAN/WLAN network name/network status ( when it is hidden for other people or not - broadcast )/
then you have WLAN network mode : you put infrastructure and then you click on the options - then on " advanced settings " and there you have the IPv4 settings, you must click on it and then you got everything needed for connecting to your protected WIFI network : the phone IP adress to put there in / the subnet mask / default gateway / DNS adress ...............
you got it : now everything should be fine for connecting to your protected network !!!!

IPv6 settings : that you have also but I do not now for the moment what it is good for.
Proxy Server adress : you have proxy ? no - then nothing.
    Proxy port number ? no

Voilą, now everything is fine with my wifi !!
