    i only charge it full in the morning and use it heavily the whole day, i feel you must let the battery drain till the end, and charge it when it says "low battery".......

    I think the "Memory effect" only applies to older generation batteries. You can charge your batteries whenever you want and it will be fine.

    I charge my mobile after its complitly drained and charge for 8hrs. I am a average user. Little bit of everythng. Bt still my charge stands out under 2days. Is this normal

    You are correct. The memory effect typically only effects NiCd batteries, Li-ion batteries do not suffer from the memory effect.

    well every mobile, camera & other electronic stuff here has Li-ion battery, NiCd batteries are old and very rare now-a-days.............

    They are indeed. I still remember using them back in my radio controlled car days in the 90's. Very expensive, and if you didn't treat them with extreme care the performance from them sucked something awfull. The birth of the Li-ion battery basically signalled the death of NiCd as a viable option for mainstream consumer electronics.

    U charge it for 8 hrs Feels like u charge the battery from another battery

    Even after it is completely drained, it takes some 3 hrs or so to complete the charge

    There must be something worong with your battery/charger. Mine fully charges in about 1h45m.
