Default Re: Do you turn off your 5800 when you charge it?

It's best not to turn it off since frequent turn off/turn on reduces the battery's capacity
its ok nothing will happen to your battery capacity

i never turn off any of my phone ...but i make it a point to give my phones a reset in a week or two just to insure that phonnes are running optimally .

    My 5800 is currently off.....

But, generally I don't turn off my phones, but I do restart them once in a while.

What do you mean? 3 hours you must mean days?

So if I charge it overnight while telephone is on it will not overcharge and damage my battery? Just making it clear

Also if I use it for GPS navigation in my car, having it connected to car battery for charging will that damage battery?

Sorry for all the battery talk

its better to reboot your phone depending on usage maybe everyday or week depends on 3rd party apps and other usage for the phone.
