Totally not worth it for converting videos to watch on phone.
The tools mentioned above will do the job just fine for free!

Total Video Converter is a paid application, and is no better than the freeware Format Factory.
Smartmovie Player is a paid application, has a nice interface, and can play avi files. However, it is not worth compared to RealPlayer.
Nokia 5800XM has screen resolution 640x360, so you need to play videos that do not exceed that size.

Conclusion: Use Format Factory (using 5800XM preset) to convert your videos and play them on RealPlayer.
    Simple and free.

You have soft subs, which are not supported by 5800XM.
Next time just burn them into the video when you are converting it for 5800XM.
