Default how to reset lost security code in new bb5 phones (5800/n97/n96/n85/n79etc)

Do this at your own risk, you may damage your phone

the problem with newer bb5 phones (5800/n97/n85/n79) is that u cant recover lost security codes either with nemesis nor with jaf ...the only way to get around this problem was to hard reset the device or do a factory reset using jaf tool .
also this was a problem that many 5800 users face after firmware upgrade .

but now with this method u will be able to reset your security code to default 12345 without having to hard reset the phone

    so here are the steps
(plz note u wont find this method on other forums )

-first u will need jaf tool with jaf pkey emulator
search the forum for that i have posted all versions of it

-download bb5 reset counter i have attached

-open jaf pkey and then select jaf tool (main )

-now go to bb5 tab and check normal mode

-then check "read pm " and then click "service "

-now it will ask u for address length

    -now put
start address as "0" and end address as "255"

-save the pm file on your desktop

    -now open bb5 reset counter
click on the open button and browse to the location where u have saved ur pm file

    -then press reset
After resetting, save the file as '' *.PM. ''

-now open jaf tool and check "write pm " and hit "service"

-now reboot your device and voila your security code is been resetted to default 12345 or 00000

what this method does it that it resets the security code which lies in your pm (permanent memory)

It is really empty sir.. I myself is also wondering why. I flashed my phone using JAF APAC 2 RED. Used Navifirm to download files. After flashing that's my problem. I can't find a solution to open the security code.

    I also tried these..

    Factory Reset
    User Code Edit

I noticed that my IMEI has gone.. Is that normal?
