I can barely get a full day out of it and I don't believe that I am using it excessively. I use it for a little web browsing over wi-fi and music over the loud speakers and it is down to 1 bar by the end of the day. I've read that other people are getting up to 3 days out of it so I find this very disappointing! Does anyone else have this problem? My second issue with the phone, and probably the one that I find the most concerning is the issue of not being able to hear a person clearly when I'm on a phone call. I've read that other people are also facing this problem. At first I thought it may have been software related and somehow due to the proximity sensor but I'm starting to think that it is hardware related. I've found that if I push the phone really hard against my ear that the problem is solved. My particular phone is also one that has a gap in the top right corner where light escapes. I think that this may have something to do with it. If I put pressure on the gap, and close the gap while I'm on a call, then I can hear the other person ok. So I'm just wondering if other people who have this phone and have the gap in the top right hand corner are also having the problem of the volume level during phone calls. I'm afraid it's a major hardware problem.

.....I didn't find any problem with the battery (I charge after 2-3 days). It is more better now compared to my N95 in which I always charge everyday or twice a day.
.....I also don't have problems with the earpiece but I notice there is a very slight gap on the upper right corner....
.....I conclude that, some 5800xm phones that are having problems are the blue ones (because mine is Red) and the place of manufacture.....those phones made in Hungary and China doesn't have any problems yet with 5800XM....

yeah, no doubt about phones made in Finland (they're 100% good quality) and made in China are not 100% problem-free.....but I can say, I'm still lucky to have no problems with my phone since its only made in China.

I got my phone back this morning from Nokia center, the battery was full, now it's half-empty,between the disappearance of the first battery bar and the second bar only 30min!! same thing between the second and third one
The battery problem is still here,I dunno how much Nokia energy profiler is accurate but it's giving about 16 hours remaining battery(the app was running with the screen off),so I am beginning to think that the phone itself has a problem because it's not reading the battery level properly,I will test this when the phone will say ''battery empty'': I will take out the battery for 10sec and replace it to see if the battery level raise again...
