    Default 5800XM Single/Double Click Confusion

I haven't actually use the 5800XM yet but I have heard that there seems to be a mass confusion with the single/double click within the UI menu system (eg single-click to open some items and double click for others). Has this been fixed yet? If not, will Nokia be likely to change it based on the amount of complaints?

The funny thing is, it isn't confusing at all at least for 'me'. You select an item and run it, if it's already selected, tap once more to run :|

it is single click on the main menu... on the other menu's double click... first to choose second the run... ı think it is good cause no chance to do anything wrong with it

It's wonky, but you do get used to it, it's not a big HUGE deal nor is it a deal breaker. It is a great phone that will keep getting better. And, yes, I would love to be able to pick how many clicks or taps I need.

Another way, if you hold the icon or item for a few seconds and then release it, it opens anyway, regardless if you need to click once or twice

The easiest way to remember where it's double touch and where it's single is that the top menu(i.e: the menus before you enter the actual app) are single taps, after that, once you have entered into the app it's all double taps! Easy!

If it's the icon menu then single click, if it's the list menu then double click.
