Guys I have a 5800 and I'm not an Engineer or anything but i'm sure all Nokias display signal strength differently to an iphone. If I am in a low 3G area the signal on my phone will show low 3G bars...however my edge signal or normal GSM signal will still be full...which is needed for a normal phone call..this video is B***S*** as it shows the 3G signal only, not the normal signal which is needed to make a call! APPLE SUCKS!

With 2 hands around my N97, it drops 2-3 bars from full. And i think they used some jammer.

This video was made last year as a demo for handwriting. It wasn't made for the antennae demonstration so it's a more natural instance of how a phone is held.

Is this the so called deathgrip? Because i'm right handed and that really is how i hold my phone especially when browsing (Either through the GPS, apps, or browser; voice calls aren't the only ones dependent on that antennae). Heck, when i make a call, i use my right to search through the phonebook and my left keeps a firm grip on the phone. And it rarely leaves my left hand when i finally dial.

When you guys use your phones, how do you hold it?

I added a second video so now there are both 2G and 3G tests.
This thing has never disturbed me until I knew how to do the "Death Grip"

I don't think it's that serious that it would require a 100% recall of devices.

BTW, there's only one bar in my video coz i live in a blind spot. Even at 3 bars, you can still make calls.

EDIT: Interesting, i never paid attention before, but i just dialed our landline and the bars suddenly jumped from 3 to Full.
