Default Do i need a new memory card for my 5800 ?!

I searched already and people had this corruption issues since forever. And i did all kinds of solutions there is. So will the automatic format, corruption and phone freezes stop if i change the memory card to either 16 giga class 2 or same 8 giga but diff class (i happen to have class 6) ? Or its just something caused by the device itself and i have to keep living with it ?

I don't quite understand, have you tried a different card with the phone?

There is always a small chance that the card read/write mechanism on the phone is damaged. This chance is usually far lower then the chance of the actual card being damaged or low quality instead. Try with one-two other cards, and if they keep getting corrupt, contact nokia tech support about the issue.

Actually i didnt try another card. Will do. Nokia care had no idea what so ever, and there best shot was software reinstallation.

If your memory card is faulty it will continue to give errors .
But its more likely to get corrupted files than actually be faulty .

Class 6 is the best .

Corrupt files from incorrect removal of USB cable .
Faulty software the sign is often a white screen .
OS corrupting memory card files that would be way down the list unlikely but not impossible .
Another possible corruption is if you use a clean-up tool like G-force .

My route would be format the card .
Run a regular scandisc to fix errors on the card before buying a new card .

And yes my view is that overall the micro sd format is far more prone to get data corruption and requires the user to be aware and back up data .

This isn't about format as much as about the size factor. It makes many maker's normal desire to put flash that is "as cheap as possible" on the card destructive, because small size makes chip far more prone to various electric faults.

Buying from quality vendor should result in a fairly stable and much less corruption-prone card, but those tend to cost quite a bit more money. Of course that's the money you're paying for quality.

I always format, chkdsk, defrag, remove while no programs running or any data transfer going on. And it happens out of the blue. Before the last firmware update it happened usually refreshing music library, opening the images and videos or taking some pics by the camera and when trying to view them in the gallery for the first time all images deletes. After v.50 it doesnt happen in the music library no more.
The availble good quality card available to me is kingston 16 class 2.

Class 2 is the LOWEST available class, meaning that card has failed every single speed/quality test required for higher class rating. Don't get confused by the brand name, lowest class is still lowest class, be it any brand.

    It is anything but quality.

If you want quality, you want class 6 or class 10.
