    Default Problems with battery indicator

    Hello there folks,
I'm new to the Nokia but I'm pretty happy with my 5800 so far. One of the things that bugs me a lot is battery indicator. My battery was fully charged on Tuesday morning, I made 2 calls and few messages, yesterday I made a few more calls, 30-50 minutes all in all, and this morning my battery was still showing 100% all 7 bars. I downloaded that flash program and it to told me I had 100% battery. So after a while I notice that one bar is gone and that I have 6 bars, one hour after I had 5 bars, 20 minutes call and I was down to 2 bars Is this normal or? I have the latest firmware and the phone is not operator locked.

Thing is, I don't like that I don't know how much battery I really have, like perhaps I need phone for some important call but it could die on me like 10 minutes afterwards. I mean dropping from 7 bars down to 2 bars in like four hours is not ok, not after just 20 minutes talk.

    Anyone has the same problem?

I suffer the same prob with my Nokia n78, it was present in the Nokia n85, but they rectified it in a firmware upgrade, don't know why they haven't yet fixed it in the n78 after 4 firmware updates!

It is really annoying, after one more phonecall (5 minutes tops) it is now down to one bar Just wonder if this is some rare bug or is it widespread?

I think we all have that on 5800. we need new logarithm for battery. 3days 100% and then suddenly 3bars and if you open video it freezes with white color. It's the same on v10 and v20. Also the signal from gsm is always filled with bars.

Yes, like iphone with new firmware. 1.05W/kg it kills my neurons, maybe for that is too good

Yeah it's same here, stays at 100% for ages, as soon as it drops one bar I know I need to conserve my usage as the rest will follow soon. extremely annoying, but I've found similar on previous phones too(not nokia).
