Default Speaker phone problem! (not that BUg, something else)

    Hi Guys

I know there's an earpiece problem on the on the 5800XM where the user can not hear (volume goes up and down) the other party properly.. I also know and seen the video on youtube on w/c can be fixed by a simple hack on the ear piece.. I have been lucky enough not to have this problem ..

However I have something that's REVERSE! w/c is irritating..

All is fine making regular calls, but whenever I put someone on speaker phone, most of the time the other party can barely hear me, even if im speaking right next to the phone literally shouting at it! the other party always complains of me sounding really far from the phone, or my voice going up and down or something..

There's only been about 2 or 3 occasions where the speakerphone worked perfectly.

speakerphone feature is like 1 of the wheels of my car... I CANT WORK WITHOUT IT THAT BASIC FEATURE

has anyone of ya'll experienced this on your 5800 XM?
what could this be? hardware? software?

I've experienced this problem since i got the phone.. since then i've reset the phone, upgraded the firmware to v20, hacked it w/ helloOx 1.3 etc..

This also could be a network operator issue, on either side.

I've tested it and it happens to me too. Damn!! Seems that my 5800 isn't flawless after all. Going to Nokia Care soon

I wish it was that but no, coz when i switch back to handset we can hear each other properly again.. and on that same call switching to loud speaker, brings back the problem. annoying...

Didn't need to. I had to hard reset the phone and it started to work fine since then...
